As I go downstairs, I see the girls getting alone very well.
Seavnsa was teaching Rebeckah how to play portal 2.
Past the Tv, I saw out the window that Mercy was playing all alone. I felt so bad that such a beautiful little girl didn't communicate very well.
I proceeded to feed the babies and change them. I was just about to lay down for a nap when I heard the door bell ring.
I got to the glass door and I was surprised to see Kyle there.
I opened the door and he stepped closer to me for a hug, but I just backed up.
"Sky, I'm really sorry. Truly, I've been a wreck this past week."
"Well then you should have listened to me and let me sleep before arguing with you!"
"Yeah, I know. It was terrible of me, but I was a little buzzed and tired, too. Can we forget this happened?"
"I can't forget everything, Kyle. You still lied to me."
"I tried to tell you...."
"Then? That would have led to screaming again and Anthony's insomnia was already bad."
"I wasnt thinking!
"Sky, I promise I'll explain later! I do! But can we forget this happened?"
"Kyle... I.. can't just...... forget."
"Can these help?" he asked, giving me a half-grin. He pulled out purple flowers and gave them to me.
I couldn't help but feel happy that he would do this after we had a fight.
"Come on in, I have to put these somewhere!" I smiled.
"Oh Kyle, they are beautiful!" I smiled and I went to give him a hug. As I pulled back, his grip tightened and I stared at him. His eyes lured me in.
He leaned forward and I couldn't help but press my lips against his. I felt myself smile again.
We went down to the nursery when I heard Ezra crying.
"Look, I don't want you to get mad at me again, but today I really had plans....erm.... for my next ...erm.... father." I said awkwardly. He just smiled and leaned closer.
"Sky, I told you I understand. I was just drunk that night, okay? It's just..."
"What?"
"I'm here, now. Why not let me help??"
"Kyle... aww. I guess, I don't know if I can bend the rules a little......."
"Okay, you asked for it." He looked down. "Here comes.... the smolder."
"Oh my gosh, kyle." I laughed. He knew Tangled was my favorite kid's movie."
So, I invited him upstairs...
And I think you guys know the drill by now. ;P
When Kyle's coach called him, he had to high-tail it out of there. I walked out to the dining room to see Seavnsa. She reminded me it was their birthday.
Rebeckah was the first to age, and even though she hated her frizzy hair, when she aged up it got better.
Next was Ledla, and she aspired to be a personal trainer!
Moving on to Mercy, who being my half-way baby I was very proud of, grew up with a high-end personality.
Lastly was Seavnsa, and she looked just like some of her older sisters.
Seavnsa and Mercy were as close as different aged siblings get.
Before She moved out, Mercy had a pillow fight with Seavnsa.
When she had to finally go, Seavnsa said good-bye to me.
They didn't leave quick enough that they didn't see Miles grow up,
alongside his brother, Ezra!
Mercy was upset, but she didn't let it show much.
My boys were so playful.
Kyle came back that night and hung out with me and the toddlers.
He even stayed through the ugly potty-training.
The next day at lunch I was making myself some grilled cheese,
And my tummy rumbled, but it wasn't because I was hungry!
I felt happy I was pregnant with one of Kyle's children again.
I rubbed my stomach all day, smiling.
Of course, there was a down-side. Cleaning all day.
When all that was done, I took a long relaxing shower.
Next thing I know, Mercy had invited a boy over!
I let them be and went to hang out with my little boys.
I actually got some progress out of them!
Mercy started doing odd thing while smiling, for example cleaning the shower.
She went to bed with a smile that night.
In the morning, I was sitting in the dining room drinking my coffee when Mercy joined me.
"Mom, I have some news." Mercy smiled, and she turned to me.
"Well, um, Prom is tonight...."
"Oh, it is? Mercy May Greene what are you going to wear?!"
"Well, that's it! I wanted to know if I could use your old prom dress??"
I laughed at her request. "I didn't go to prom." I smiled. She looked at me.
"Why not, mom?" she asked. I smiled.
"I spent my teenage years in an orphanage. They didn't have 'proms'." I laughed.
"Oh," Mercy said. "I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"That's Okay, Mercy." I laughed. "I have something better."
"What??"
"How about Aunt Leya's prom dress? She gave it to me for safe-keeping." I turned to her, raising an eyebrow. "If, that is, you can keep it safe."
"Oh, Mom, I swear on my life I will!!"
"Great." I smiled down at my coffee. "Is that all?" I asked.
"Um, well, No." she said.
"What else?" I asked lightly.
"Mortimer asked me to prom..."
"That's great, honey!!!!"
"Really? Good. Yeah, I like him." She smiled, shook her head, and headed downstairs.
When she got home from school that evening, we went to town getting her to look beautiful. It didn't require much effort.
The light blue tone of Leya's dress matched her perfectly.
We braided her hair in the front and straightened the back. She did her own make-up, and she looked stunning!
Mortimer came to get her early, and we all sat down to converse. I approved.
Mercy ended up having a wonderful time, and she insisted herself she rode home on her favorite bike on such a beautiful night.
When she got home, she felt happy and ditzy, and she played around with Miles and Ezra.
And all day Saturday she was calling either Bethany her best friend, or Mortimer.
She framed and put up their photo from their entrance and she kept sighing at it dreamily.
It took awhile for me to convince her to do her homework.
When I was sure she was okay alone for half an hour, I went to take a calming bath.
That was soon interrupted by my stomach going wild.
